For your information, MATRADE is organizing the 9th International Halal Showcase (MIHAS 2012), scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpurfrom 4-7 April 2012. Inconjunction with MIHAS 2012, MATRADE would like to invite your company to meet Malaysian manufacturers and exporters in one-on-one business meetings at MATRADE on 3 April 2012. In addition, there will be a special session for you to meet the exhibitors of MIHAS on 4 April 2012.

If you are considering sourcing new products or services fromMalaysia, this is the best time. MIHAS 2012 will be an effective venue for you to sourceMalaysia’s wide range of high quality products and services. The focused sectors are as follows:

i)       Consumables (Food & Beverages, Seafood, Confectionery, Pharmaceuticals and supplements)

ii)      Non-food Products (Perfumery, Toiletries, Cosmetics, Skin & Body Care)

iii)      Services (Halal Certification, Islamic Financial, Banking, Logistic)

Foreign buyers attending the Business Meetings are entitled to complimentary accommodation (up to 5 days 4 nights stay, from 2 – 6 April 2012) as well as airport and hotel transfers. Buyers are advised to arrive inKuala Lumpurby 2 April 2012. However, should you intend to stay longer for follow-up meetings or visits, you will need to pay for the additional costs incurred.

Interested companies should contact our office and request a registration form to submit with clear indication on the products/services of interest before 2 March 2012. We can also assist your company in meeting with other relevant Malaysian companies that you may have already identified.
